What Does TechProtect Do?Once installed, TechProtect quickly and automatically detects viruses and malware and notifies us about critical issues on your computer. The best and biggest reason to swith is that the malicious software NOT detected by the software is caught by our technicians that are on 24/7/365 monitoring live. As we know, virus and malware software does not detect every bad website, file or program that can get on your machine. Not one program or service is 100% protection; however, with TechProtect you will get as close as possible. This is not just software that you would install on your computer like all other antivirus programs. We have a huge advantage with our added 24/7 monitoring. If your computer experiences a problem it will send a notification to our system so we can act upon the notification. A support request form built into our software allows you to contact RWC Tech Solutions to submit a support request 24/7. You’ll benefit by receiving faster remote service, and a higher quality of service overall as a TechProtect subscriber.
If a new virus or malware infection came out that was not being caught by viruses and malware software we would push out a fix if available to each machine on our TechProtect service. We actively monitor your antivirus/malware protection as well as the software installed on your machine 24/7.
This service is remote monitored service. Remote service allows us to work on your computer as if we were sitting in front of it and allows us to assist you faster. It does not include in store, onsite, remote, email or phone technical support. The majority of virus and malware infections can be taken care of remotely however the few that cannot be taken care of must be brought into our service center, or onsite service is needed and is not included with any package. Please note that we cannot remote into your computer without you physically clicking accept. We also cannot see what you are doing on the internet unless you ask us to remote in and look.
How Much Does it Cost?
We have two main plans that will keep you protected.Free This package includes 24/7 Built-in Contact Form, Automatic Health Alerts, Remote Connect Software, proactive monitoring for you to keep ahead of the issues. The FREE package does not include virus and malware protetion. We do not monitor your computer for issues. This is installed on all machines by default as an added benefit for our customers.
TechProtect Monitoring so we can see the issues as they occur to be proactive as possible before a catastrophy happens. Antivirus and Malware protection is included. This also enables the technician to fix issues faster, and sometimes prevent them from affecting your experience for a small charge. TechProtect is $8/mo paid at $96 /year.
TechProtect Plus Includes the same protection as TechProtect, plus complete system cleaning, optimization and updating. Unlimited Remote malware and virus removal service is included during your subscription. We also manage your windows updates and ensure they are being installed and updated for your security. We also update major applications on your computer too. You won’t have to waste time on mundane tasks – we’ll take care of everything for you…in the background and remotely so you don’t have to. TechProtect Plus is $15/mo paid at $180 /year.
Computer ADD-ON: You can add additional computers to your subscription for $5/mo/each additional machine (Paid at $60/yr). Your actual subscription timeframe for the add-on computer may be reduced as we sync up your add-on with your primary subscription renewal date. You get the same features of the main plan that you selected.
How do I get started?Set up is quick and easy. Just schedule an appointment or give us a call and we’ll set it up remotely for you at no additional charge. You will contact the store that is closest to you to start the process. We require a credit card to be on file for auto renewal. You will receive an invoice when the renew charge occurs after 1 year.
